History

In the beginning, a need was identified to specialise in supplying the perfect Pavlova to many cafes and restaurants, as this can be a tedious and time-consuming task. Since 1993 the Bartlett family has devoted year’s worth of industry knowledge and experience into creating high quality, unique desserts, to a growing number of customers and clients.

To this day, Country Chef is still producing the perfect Pavlova.

As Country Chef’s reputation grew to a national level, so did an entire collection of desserts, clients and employees. In 2002, Country Chef’s small Nambour factory was bursting at the seams and a new home was found on the Sunshine Coast situated just one hour north of Queensland’s capital, Brisbane.

Alongside our constant market research, consumer feedback and dedicated team of new product development specialists, we continually add to our dessert range, ensuring all of our target markets receive a unique dessert solution.
